Hello,
I have been looking at Buddhism for a while and I would like to learn more. I have never been to a Buddhist temple before and there for not quite sure of all of the customs ect. I would like to find out when is the best time for a new comer to visit? Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Tara Teaching THIS WEEK ( may 31 and June 2)
Introduction to Tara Practice
Tara is the female Buddha, born from a tear shed by Avalokiteshvara as he wept,
watching sentient being trapped in the suffering of samsara.
She is considered a protector and is called Tara The Quick because she comes as soon as one calls.
WHEN: Tuesday and Thursday (5/31 & 6/2) @ 7:30 pm
WHERE: Dorje Ling Center
WHAT: Green Tara Practice, including visualizations and structure of the sadhana
Suggested Donation: $30/ $15 for Seniors / Students.
Please bring your donation with you to the teachings. We ask that whatever you can give, you give to support both our teacher and our center.
All donations help keep the doors open at Dorje Ling Atlanta. Dorje Ling has no paid staff. All work is done on a voluntary basis.
